About

Sasspparrella is the personal porfolio of Eliana Mendes. Her childhood dream was to join the clergy, however all hopes were dashed after her conviction for grand theft auto was quashed on appeal. Pushy ethnic parents forced her to study design and the torrid love affair with typography began. Soon, Sass began to see print, illustration, web, photography, motion and broadcast on the side and enjoyed a passionate relationship with each. She has also graduated with a Masters in Nerd Science and is currently writing her dissertation on He-Man and She-ra's postcolonial feminist ideals. Through caffeine and Panadeine-induced hallucinations, she has worked on Telstra™, Coca-Cola®, Jaguar and many others. She likes the wind and the letter 7... lucky for some. © Eliana Mendes. Save Ellie™ 2.0

20th January, 2008

How about that once-in-a-century-global-economic-complete-fricking-meltdown huh? While I'm waiting for Dubya to green-light my own personal $17 billion bailout package, I thought it would be prudent to look for something that will keep me occupied in the meantime.

Obviously the beach seemed like the best solution, but one can only spend so many days working on the best triangulated derivative location from the Flags for optimal photosynthesis. Celebrity blogging was also promising but my legal team is currently working on several defamation and slander suits and I was advised to put that on hold during the investigation.

So I've worked on my portfolio instead.
You'll find below important information about me and what I'm looking to achieve.

I am predominantly looking for a Senior Interactive Designer role.

Velociroflcoptersaurus Predictions for 2009

10th January, 2008

Hmmm, what is going to happen in 2009. Generally we have no idea. But on the topic of Velociroflcoptersaurus we can offer some advice. Between 1st January 2009 and 13th January 2009 we will see a growth in the term Velociroflcoptersaurus being found in Google. From 13th January 2009 usage of the term Velociroflcoptersaurus will cease and more than likely never be seen again.

The QRCode on the p8tch is a URL. If you scan the code with your iPhone, Mobile Safari will take you directly to that URL. If it's a Google Maps link, your iPhone will take you directly to the map. If it's a YouTube link, you'll see the movie fullscreen. Cool, right?
